What are the different between regular and irregular verbs in past

Explain and give examples about the rules.

- Verbos regulares solo se les añade -ed. (play/plaied)

  Verbo Regular: Solo cambia "ed" al final en tiempo pasado. 

Los verbos regulares siempre se acaban con -ed 
x ejemplo: 
like=liked 
watch=watched 

play - played 

- Verbos irregulares cambian totalmente. (run/ran/run) 

Verbo Irregular: Cambia la forma de escribir en tiempo pasado.

Los irregulares hay q aprender las tres columnas 
x ejemplo: 

see ---- saw ---- seen 
make ---- made ---- made 
do ---- did ---- done
